One of the greatest sufi Abraham Al Atrush reported...

We were on sailing with Mentor Maruf Al Kerhi on the Tigris River. We saw a group, they were on the boat, singing, drinking alcohol and having fun. They passed next to us and we said to Maruf :

- What a shame, look! I'm sure they do not think about Allah even for a second, they are all rebels! Don't hesitate to say some bad prayings to them! Marif prayed:

My great Allah, that group seem very happy here in the world, I hope they will have same happiness in another world too..

We were all in shocked and said:

But, but how! We asked 'bad prayings' not good wishes! Maruf gave final answer :

If Allah decides to send them to heaven, Allah shows the right way to them, and then they may regret and they can be a people as you wish !

 

P.S: In İslam, Singing or having fun are not sins but having alcohol is forbidden. Because alcohol causes to many negative behaviours and it is not good for health too.
